Research has shown that storytelling is an effective teaching tool. As social species, our brains are programmed to remember narratives. Therefore learning using stories allows information to be retained in our memories for longer than learning using derived facts and figures. Here at The Storytelling Scientist, stories are at the heart of our science teaching materials. Our aim is to use storytelling to make science more accessible and memorable for all learners.
